Why getting into tech isn’t as easy as you think

Despite the plethora of job openings in the tech industry, companies are being choosy. Not only do you need the right tech chops, but you also need to be aware of cultural fit. For the techie, soft skills are increasingly important. And for the non-techie trying to break into the field, well, it is called “tech” for a reason. Make sure you get the skills necessary.
